Bluejay Consulting has been established to offer supervision and consultancy services to individuals, groups and organisations working in the human services and social work sectors. Those seeking to engage in non-directive, strengths based supervision with an experienced practitioner will find a supportive space here to reflect, develop and grow.
Who Am I?
I am a dedicated social work practitioner with 18 years experience in a variety of organisational contexts including homelessness, youth work, community development, disability, mental health, family violence and leadership roles. Qualifications from Queensland University of Technology include Bachelor of Arts, Bachelor of Social Science (Human Services) and Master of Social Work. I also hold a Cert. IV in Work Health and Safety.
My Experience
I have experience with grant writing, strategic planning and leading organisations through successful HSQF accreditation processes. I have facilitated groups, coordinated large multi-agency networks and developed and delivered training to a variety of professionals. I have been a Board member of a not-for-profit mental health and disability organisation for the past 8 years.
I have a passion for supporting people towards positive and sustainable change and advocating within the systems and social structures which impact upon meaningful inclusion in the community. My practice has a focus on empowerment and self-determination for supporting individuals, families and communities with complex needs.
